These terms govern your use of Familingo. By creating an account you agree to them. Contact: support@familingo.app.

The service

Familingo creates subtitles for your videos using automatic transcription and translation. AI-generated subtitles can contain mistakes — review them before sharing anything important.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details safe and give us accurate information. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Your content

Your videos stay yours. You give us permission to store, transcribe, translate, and subtitle them — only as needed to provide the service. Only upload content you have the right to use, and nothing unlawful.

Free plan

The free plan includes a limited amount of video processing each month (currently 10 minutes), and individual videos are limited in length (currently 3 minutes). We may adjust these limits; the app will always tell you when you reach one.

Familingo Pro

Familingo Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual), purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The price is shown in the store before you buy. Billing, renewal, and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms; you can cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, and the subscription then runs until the end of the paid period.

Unlimited subtitling and fair use

Pro includes unlimited subtitling for normal personal and family use. Because every processed minute costs us real money, "unlimited" is subject to a fair-use ceiling — currently 100 hours of processed video per month, which is more than three hours of video every single day. It exists to prevent abuse, not to limit families; if you ever reach it, processing pauses until the start of the next month. We may adjust the ceiling and will update this page when we do.

Availability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties. We may change, suspend, or discontinue it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages or lost content — keep copies of videos that matter to you.

Ending things

You can delete your account in the app at any time (Settings → Delete account). Deleting your account does not cancel a Pro subscription — cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play settings, or Apple/Google will keep billing you for a service you no longer use. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Changes

If these terms change, we will update this page and the date above. Using the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
